I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, thanks to its unbeatable location right next to the smoking volcanic geopark. The room I got was spacious, clean, and offered stunning views over the lava fields. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us adjust our plans after an earthquake in Kumamoto. However, the dining experience was a bit hit or miss, as the breakfast wasn't as good as I had hoped. Overall, it was a great value for money.
